As much as I'd want Seagal in the next one, he seems to have a bad rep in the martial arts and entertainment industries of being egotistical and hard to be around.

 Thank You jedinanner!   Tony Jaa is frickin' amazing!  And he is a great action star.   I actually like Jaa's action movies better than Jet Li.  

And Nic Cage?  Blah.  Not and good action star. Definitely a great crazy bad guy.

Man I wanted to catch Expendables before seeing the sequel. Guess I'll have to figure the plot out as I go. I hope I can keep up with the cerebral storyline.

I think they need to get Carl Weathers as he was in films with both Stallone and Arnold. 

@Monkeyfoot, I don't thnk being egotistical will be much of a hindrance for an expendables flick.  After all, they've both had Bruce Willis in them.  He's a premadonna of the first order.
