Eckhart Talks About TWO-FACE

The Los Angeles Times says that Aaron Eckhart didn't shy away from dropping some details about Two-Face in The Dark Knight. If you don't want to know any spoilers about the character in Christopher Nolan's movie, then don't read further!

Here's a piece of it...

"I can tell you that, basically, when you look at Two-Face, you should get sick to your stomach. Being the guy under all that, well, that was a lot of fun for me. It's like you would feel if you met someone whose face had pretty much been ripped off or burned off with acid. I can't talk about it beyond that because I don't want to give away too much of the plans by Chris."

The Dark Knight hits standard and IMAX theaters July 18, 2008.

Nolan is going to go for a more real look so I'm guessing Two Face won't have a purple or blue face like he did in Forever and The Animated Series. He's just going to look like one scary disfigured looking mofo!
"The Dark Knight" toys have a Scarecrow figure, I wonder how he plays into the movie.

If you watch the trailer, I believe thats Scarecrow driving the white van that Batman lands on. It's hard to make out.

If you pause the trailer on the scene of Dent holding a gun, you can see burned skin on his face...just barely..since that side of the face is away from us.

You know, I was about to check that Dent scene where he is holding the gun, cause I thought a glimpse at Two Face might be seen there. Thanks, now I definitely will, hadn't linked the Scarecrow to the white van though.

I hadn't noticed until this morning, when I checked out some stills of the trailer, about the scene in the car. You can just barely make out the edge of the scarring down the middle of Dent's face. Frickin' excellent! Good catch on the Scarecrow scene. I'll have to go back & check that out.

Great catch on both counts TayDor! I think I even see a hint of white hair on the disfigured side. This film is going to be great:)

Froze it on the Dent scene with the gun and you can definitely see he's Two Face at that point.

In the trailier they show Harvey on the ground with his face in a puddle - I am assuming that would be the precurser to him getting burned by the acid. And of course the whole "you live long enough to see yourself become the villian" line is cool.

Last year, wasn't there some on the set photos that show batman fighting scarecrow by a white van in a parking garage?

Someone else also caught that the suit in that scene is different on Dent's left side. I missed that. I went back and looked at the still of Batman crashing down on the roof of the van, and couldn't see the driver. I'll have to check out the actual trailer later.

Hey everyone long time reader, first time commenting. I had to bring this up, did anyone else notice in the LA Times article what Aaron Eckhart says about Two-Face? "And Harvey Dent has an extremely strong sense of justice. His fiancée is killed." Is that referring to the comics or The Dark Knight? Do he and Rachel get engaged and Joker kills her at some point in the movie?
