FUNimation is continuing to work through a number of series that are just out now or due out within the next month by promoting several clips that highlight the show and the new English language adaptation for it. In a bit of a change, possibly a first, they've also pushed out a clean opening sequence for Nabari no Ou, something that I hope they do for just about every series since it's the quickest and easiest way to sell it to someone in a casual form. It's simply good marketing.

In this round, FUNimation is covering several anime titles for promotion that are fairly different from each other.

Eden of the East

Plot summary: Akira Takizawa wakes up naked outside the White House with no memories. He's got a gun in one hand, a cell phone in the other, and doesn't know if he's a good guy or one of the worst. He doesn't remember the phone gives him instant access to ten billion yen and a woman who can make his most outlandish requests a reality. He doesn't recall his connection to the ongoing missile attacks terrorizing the Japanese people. Or the part he played in the sudden disappearance of 20,000 shut-ins. He doesn't even remember he's supposed to save Japan and will be murdered if he fails. Whatever it is he's tangled up in, Takizawa's definitely in deep -- and that's not even scratching the surface. Corpse Princess (Shikabane Hime)

Plot Summary: She'll kill anything that's dead. Makina Hoshimura is one of the living dead. If the girl is to ever find peace, she must hunt down and destroy her own kind. Aided by a secret society of monks, Makina's quest to rid the world of the undead begins. (Find out more here: Corpse Princess (Shikabane Hime)

Samurai 7 Complete Series

Plot Summary: Inspired by Akira Kurosawa's Legenday Epic - Seven Samurai

Samurai 7 is set in a futuristic world that has just seen the end of a massive war, many villages are being terrorized by Nobuseri bandits. The Nobuseri are no normal bandits. They were once men, but during the war they modified themselves with machines to become living weapons and now appear as more machine than man. A group of villagers decide to hire samurai to protect their village. These men of valor are as skilled as they are unique. (Find out more here: Samurai 7)

Hetalia: Axis Powers

Plot Summary: In this clip we meet Canada, eh? (Find out more here: Axis Powers Hetalia)

Nabari no Ou

Plot Summary:  In the shadows of this modern world, ninjas fight for control of an ancient technique which holds untold strength. This coveted power dwells within apathetic Miharu, a fact the guy really couldn't care less about - until the clashing rival clans bring their battle to him.

Now Miharu struggles to understand the mystery buried in his soul, and must choose a side if he hopes to survive. But when conflict is waged in secret, and lethal ninjas hide in plain sight, friend and foe prove difficult to tell apart. (Find out more here: Nabari No Ou)
