 Wtf?

This is one of the WORST casting choices in a long time.  It's like DC makes these decisions on take your child to work day.  This movie is a trainwreck, and that is being fair.

Henry Cavill and Jesse Eisenberg are the same age so there is that. I would have preferred an older Luthor, though. Irons as Alfred is fine, I suppose.

I don't want to be a naysayer, but I have yet to see anything that will make/keep me excited about this project for two more years.

Jeremy Irons as Alfred fine.  I just can't see Eisenberg doing ANY justice / menace to Lex Luthor at all.  They're casting Mark Zuckerberg and Rio as Lex "Frickin'" Luthor.  That is just lame, DC...hope I'm wrong, but I guess we'll see... I don't think they've ever really gotten Luthor right in the movies - Hackman and Spacey definitely had the chops to play Luthor, but the story / screenplays of the movies totally made the character, in all five incarnations, a total joke...

Exactly what Tommygunner9 posted but in all caps... WTF?!? I've decided, this is one I will be skipping. Would rather have a second movie with just supes alone.

Weird, we'll see though. I was interested in seeing a more professional swaggerific, cool calm and collected Luthor, something more akin to the animated series. Eisenberg has done that super genius thing before, but he just seems so young and nerdy.

 What?  Too Jewish?

Irons should be Batman. Old, suddenly creepy british batman.

The best live action Luther was on Smallville. I was hoping for a matured and seasoned version of that.

Hopefully, this will be like Keaton or Ledger. Both were considered terrible choices at first, but when the films came out, everyone loved them in their respective roles.

The verdict is still out since we haven't even got wind of a real script yet. I tend to believe that those who have been working on a film directly and get paid to produce these types of films have better insight than those on a forum cheering or bitching about the films do. So until I get a better idea around the story and see a trailer or two I will hold judgement. Yet from a Marketing standpoint, their choices have been brilliant. People can't stop talking about Ben as Batman and Eisenberg as Lex...no press is bad. ;)
