Variety reports that director Guy Ritchie has settled on his Watson for his 'Sherlock Holmes' movie and the actor to fill the role will be Jude Law.
Law is said to be in negotiations for the role in the Warner Bros./Village Roadshow film, with a deal expected to close shortly.
'Sherlock' begins begins filming early next month in London with Robert Downey Jr. in the lead role.
