
ENTERPRISE went into its second week's episode holding on to 73% as many viewers as the pilot episode the week before. This resulted in the program being watched by 9.18M viewers with a rating of 4.6 and a share of 13. According to Variety, this 27% fall off bettered the second episode of STAR TREK: VOYAGER, which had a 33% fall off.
In addition, that hour of programming also won all adult male demos.
ENTERPRISE's success didn't necessarily mean the same for SPECIAL UNIT 2 afterwards. That program only held on to 43% of the viwers in the previous hour. Still, the 4.71M (2.0/5) watching the show allowed the UPN network to get the number 2 slot for male viewers ages 18-34.
