EPISODE III release date unveiled

Lucasfilm has finally confirmed the release date for the final STAR WARS film, the much anticipated EPISODE III. You can circle Thursday, May 19 on your calendars for 2005 if you live in the United States or Canada.

Lucasfilm will continue to announce the release dates for other countries in the weeks and months to come; right now the company knows that the film will open in Japan sometime in July but it doesn't know precisely when.

The title for EPISODE III continues to remains a mystery.
