Even More Spider-Man Photos

With great power comes a great codpiece

By Chris Beveridge     February 04, 2011

Andrew Garfield was stepping out recently as he went out to show off the Spider-man outfit and all he can do on it, according to PopSugar. Garfield did a number of poses, flips and moves that left you laughing, as we show from at least one of the pictures below. This is one of the times we've gotten a much better look at the suit in full with more lighting and it's revealed one hell of a codpiece.

Click on through to PopSugar to see even more photos of Garfield in the Spidey suit.

I HATE THE COSTUME- THIS MOVIE BETTER BE AWESOME, Or the Premiere may look like Cairo.

What the hell is with that codpiece?  And what is going on the bottom picture?  The costume sucks.  It looks like the costume from the crappy Spiderman Unlimited cartoon of the late 90's.

They better do something with this costume in post production. It is hideous.

UGH!  This gets absolutely worse every second....

TheDrow 2/4/2011 2:15:41 PM

I've got to agree this is absolutely horrible.  If this is the future of Spidey then it's dark days ahead friends..... dark days indeed.

That costume looks like shit. I'm starting to dread this movie.

swisshammer 2/4/2011 2:51:06 PM

I mean, he's like Disco-ball Spidey.

BunyonSnipe 2/4/2011 3:14:21 PM

looks like he's got sneakers on under boot tops...

the eyes look like the one Alex Ross did for the original film that were turned down...

Why does the suit have to be plastic, why not make it from cloth like in the comics, Spidey, unlike The Bat doesn't need armour!

Hopefully when this film flops big time, Sony will sell the character back to Marvel and end this inanity...

Yes inanity not insanity!
