Malicious children... now that's scary.

I saw this when it was called Wicked Little Things.

The Day...? What a really descriptive title! [/sarcasm] Instead, how about The Day Trip or The Outing or What I Should Have Learned From Watching Children of the Corn.

Nice galaga - I thought the same.. And speaking of that - shouldn't they be doing a "reimagining" of Children of the Corn soon anyway - they're remaking everything anyway... Shit! Did I just give an unimaginative hollywood suit another bad idea?

the only malicious children i remember are from Wicked Little things... oh...

and Villiage of the Damned and Children of the Corn and that movie where all those kids were on the island fighting each other....

"Malicious children". Pfft. You know what you do to "malicious children"? You punt them like footballs, that's what.

Yeah, i never got what is so scary about children,,,other than the fact that they can turn sting peas into a total nightmare.

Well the original is Children of the corn but now it seems as though it has been chewed, swallowed and defecated out onto our front lawns and renamed Children of the woods, I'm sorry, I mean, Evil Children Attack in THE DAY oooohh it's an ominous sounding title, is it not? creepy...

DvlDrvr13, yes thank you... Lord of the Flies... yes.

I'm fairly sure "that Asian Guy" in the Horrorfest:8 films to Die for was "Reincarnation" which only looks like The Grudge from the trailer.. its about an old abandoned hotel and the reincarnated spirit of a girl that returns there only to find that its haunted by the slain ghosts of victims, guests and hotel staff murdered by a serial killer. (thats the reason its abandoned and dilapidated)
its got a twist ending which I thought was good and I thought it was a pretty good entry into the series (if we're both talking about the same flick) of course... like this years crop... most of them sucked outright.

i tried catching them all either renting or buying but it turns out I did miss two of them... The Abandoned (2007's stand out "voted #1 by fans" and one other that somehow got skipped in the process of renting.
