Wow. What a poor trailer. You would think with all the money they are making, they would spend a little more on the production.
I'm just drawing an inference from there being no mention of him or being trapped in a human body...
Loved the original, but i have no problem with a remake. Just give us a good remake, and the Lars movie was some funny/sad shit--so I'm hopeful.
Good! It sounds like Thor won't be turning into the doctor...that would have been stupid.
Singer on First Class is a bad idea-hands down. Whoever posted it earlier was spot on about the first movie. I liked it at the time because I was starved to see the X-men on screen, but it has not aged well, and it is not really watchable now. Singer is not a bad director. He just cannot direct action and he has no vision. (See, cannot make an original Superman movie, so I will just ride Donner's coattails)
Singer's best films were Usual Suspects and Apt Pupil. After those, I cannot name another really good film of his. X2 was better than the first, but it still had the same "deep down this is a crap movie" kind of feel.
I expect Avengers to be AMAZING! Go Marvel!
what are we thinking? 750 mil before all is said and done? or more? I didn't catch any movies this week and I probably won't make it next week either.
I have to disagree about starting with 'Taxi Driver'. It's a cool flick, but it's not for everyone. Goodfellas is definitely the best way to start, and I also really like Raging Bull. The two in combination are like a Joe Pesci tour de force!
I'm putting money on the Jumanji spin that was stated earlier. I'm not intrigued as of yet...
Dude, Hungry, Hungry Hippos would make an excellent campy horror film! Done in the vein of Killer Clowns from Outer Space...yeah, I know, probably couldn't go that route if you're basing it off of a children's game...
Does any movie of real substance get an NC-17 rating? It's foolish to even ask for one, since the reigning NC-17 box office champion is still Showgirls! I'm guessing every studio would prefer profitable returns rather than appeasing a small portion of the masses with graphic violence and sex.
BTW, I also love Burton's original take on Batman. It's just that the action sequences in Nolan's films make Burton's scenes look pedestrian. Keaton has been my favorite Bruce Wayne though.

I don't really care if he does this. It's a good business move, and that's the bottom line. Don't know if I'll bother seeing it again in the theater if I have it on DVD. If it bugs anyone, they just shouldn't go see it. I'm not big on seeing movies when they are re-released, but I'm sure he wants to build his lead as much as possible.
