EVOLUTION Premiere Pix

On June 8th, the cast and crew of Ivan Reitman's EVOLUTION gathered for the film's gala premiere. The opening of the film was held at the Mann National Theater Westwood. Here are some of those who arrived:

Julianne Moore dressed in black for the EVOLUTION opening. Coming up for the actress is THE SHIPPING NEWS with Kevin Spacey and Judi Dench.

David Duchovny dresses down for the opening of the film, but he sure seems to be pretty happy about being at the event. ZOOLANDER, with Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, is next for the actor.

Orlando Jones at the EVOLUTION premiere.

Orlando Jones also appeared at the event. Jones is providing his voice for Aardman Animation's developing TORTOISE VS. HARE.

Sean William Scott is dressed casual. Next up for the actor are AMERICAN PIE 2 and JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK.

Screenwriter Don Jakoby checks in with the opening. Jakoby's script originally started out as serious science fiction project, which Ivan Reitman saw as a potential comedy along the lines of GHOSTBUSTERS.

THE X-FILES Nicholas Lea appeared at the opening in seeming support of his old co-star David Duchovny. THE WEST WING's Dule Hill, Ralf Moeller, of GLADIATOR and TV's CONAN showed, escorting his wife, and Judson Scott, who was prominent in the eighth season of THE X-FILES as well as STAR TREK: THE WRATH OF KHAN, all showed at the function as well.
