How about just do another Blade film. Revamp or what ever you call what Robert rodriguez does with his characters. Ste[hen Dorff does not look as young as he wants to think he does. Im surprised he isnt revamping Judgement Night. Was he in Fear dot.com as well? That was just ball licking yarftacularness movie making.

still love ya wise, but Watchmen (comic) is really better than you are givin it credit for. personal taste aside, it's a brilliant piece of sequential literature ie. comic book

Also I liked Blade 3... yeah you know me, the guy who likes al the movies everyone else hates...the one man responsible for Hollywood spewing out "crap" yeah right, But seriously I liked Blade 3 easily as much as Blade 2 (which I didn't think was that good) Hanibal King is probably the reason I liked it so much, and that they tried to get more of a Nightstalkers feel (with the team) I liked it.

I'm definitely up for Blade 4, I  don't want no re-boot either, bring back Snipes

Well,I also agree with alot of what Scythe wrote, but I know Wiseguy and I really never agree on much so its cool. It is his opinion although it did come off as being highly pretentious, but whatever. I was a late comer to Watchmen. I only read the book about 4 years ago, but I had no problem finishing it. I mean really aergent? It is by far one the most initelligent , influential  and I dare say cool comic books to come out of this written art form. And, the movie really reflected that. I mean, Synder was faithful to the book as best as he could be.
Anyway, this Blade spin-off is the most retarded idea I have heard of . Its about as dumb as Uwe Boll being nominated for an Oscar for best director.  You can't make a spin off about  character no one actually gave a shit about. Its like doing a spin-off of one of Joker's henchmen in TDK Just plain dumb. Just do a Blade 4 and recast Blade because Snipes is nuts.

Not interested in Deacon Frost, and I'm even less interested in the Watchmen dvd. Had time to ruminate over it, and while it's a pretty movie that copies panels from the book pretty well, the acting and some of the director's decisions (martial arts for everyone!) leave out the humanity of the story. I'm wondering when Warner Bros. is going to do Watchmen Babies. It's the inevetiable prequel.

I'd see a Blade reboot before I'd see a Frost prequel.

Anyways, that crap is none of my business. I used to love coming to this site to see what other people like me had to say about movies and comics, but lately all I ever see is people hurling insults at one another.

Whatever...everyone has their opinions. The most ignorant person is a person who thinks he can change the opinions and beliefs of another person. People are too stubborn to let their opinions and beliefs be swayed by someone else. That's how wars are started.

Enough bullcrap from me. I've been reading comics and collecting comics since I was 4 years old. I probably own every X-Men book from 1963 to about 1995. I have read and reread Watchmen at least 12 times in the past 5 years. I love the book and all my friends hate it, but I don't try to make them like it too. I only try to make them understand why I like it so much. The film is an excellent interpretation of the book...one of the best translations of a comic-to-screen. It is a realistic look at how life would be like if costumed heroes really existed. It shows the humanity in them and how they are just as screwed up as the rest of us. That's what I love about the book and the movie. I much rather watch Watchmen than Transformers 2 or The Dark Knight.

I believe Watchmen is the new Blade Runner. That movie was a flop back when it was released too. It was met with poor reviews by critics and the general audience. Now 20 years later, it's celebrated as a visionary piece of science fiction filmmaking. People back then just weren't ready for it and it went over everyone's heads. In 20 years, I think people will look back and think that Watchmen was a pretty good movie too.

I`m totally kidding dude. I know quite a few people that just didn't like Watchmen or TDK. It is just one of those things. People have so many intricacies to their likes and dislikes, that one thing is off or many and they just don't like something. Like people who watched the trailer for GIJOE and thought it was cool as hell and were excited about  it. I just don't get because I watched it and it yelled flaming turd, but that`s just me.
