I'd never heard of Dylan Dog before seeing the preview...glad of it too. I think the preview looks like a fun B movie, even though other friends think it looks awful. I plan on seeing it.

With the arrival of Dylan Dog: Dead of Night in theatres this Friday, the folks at Brigade Marketing offered us a little treat: a look at the storyboard sketches for the character of Belial. We hope you enjoy them.
From the press release: Dylan Dog: Dead of Night is a new horror/comedy film based on one of the world’s most popular comics. Brandon Routh stars as Dylan Dog, world famous private investigator specializing in affairs of the undead. His PI business card reads “No Pulse? No Problem.” Armed with an edgy wit and carrying an arsenal of silver and wood-tipped bullets, Dylan must track down a dangerous artifact before a war ensues between his werewolf, vampire and zombie clients living undercover in the monster infested backstreets of New Orleans. It opens this Friday in theaters.

Never read the source material so that aside I agree with Caveman. May check it out
This is a huge, definite maybe for me too. I'd heard of the comic, but never picked it up. Cast looks good and the preview looked funny. So I might matinee this one.
I'm in the same boat - never heard of Dylan Dog until I saw the preview on here a few months back. Probably won't see this in theatres but most def on Netflix (whenever Sony gets my playstation network back up).
I def recommend after you all see the flick, if you are comic fans, pick up a trade paperback. I original got to start reading the stories when I came across a tpb in a local bookstore collecting all of his books in one. It was in the discount bin for $1. How can a geeky little fanboy like me pass up ANY comic book tpb for $1....and to my surprise it was awesome fun!
This movie was a travesty. Brandon Routh is the new Keanu Reeves. Maybe if Joss Whedon had directed and Nathan Fillion had played Dylan and Nicholas Brendan as the side kick Marcus. The movie came across really gay over all
I am going to check it out, but I have a bad feeling that this will have almost nothing to do with the source material. I am wondering if the Americanized version of Dylan Dog will have him playing the clarinet....wouldnt you like to be the marketing person in charge of making clarinets cool haha!!
