EXCLUSIVE: A vision of Dark Horse's future films

Speaking exclusively with CINESCAPE's Eric Moro, Dark Horse Comics President Mike Richardson gave us a vision of the film future of Dark Horse -- from movies that are in production (HELLBOY) to ones announced as in development (30 DAYS OF NIGHT) and other projects that haven't been officially mentioned.

"We have a great project with Eli Roth, who just did CABIN FEVER, and it's a sensational project. I'm really excited about it," Richardson says. "It's a horror project and its one of the creepiest things I've heard in a long, long time. We haven't taken it out yet; we're just getting ready and he's finishing up some obligations he has, but we'll be taking it out very soon."

Another new property, titled SIERRA LEON, has found a home with Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney's production company, Section Eight. And there may be another cult comic book like HELLBOY waiting in the wings for its soon-to-be-announced movie deal. "We're negotiating a deal right now for GRENDEL, which will be announced soon we hope."

Read part one and part two of our exclusive interview with Mike Richardson to find out more about Dark Horse Comics past and its plans for the future.
