My First Time - Aug 07, 2006 - 12:47pm
I would say you covered all of my favorites (Farscape, Stargates, Pretender, X-Files. All of which I missed at least the first episode of, I also enjoyed Threshold but I started watching that one form the premiere and well it got canceled, so I don't think it's just Jason jinxing TV)
More recently I would say NCIS. I missed the first few episodes, saw one called "Sub Rosa" and was amazed I had never heard of it before. I then almost instantly lost track of it for weeks, to thankfully find it again and have not missed a single episode since. Another one I would have to include is Bones, I missed just about the entire first half of season 1, but I haven't missed and episode since, now if I had to chose between it and NCIS, it would be NCIS, but thankfully it's on Wednesdays which in my opinion makes it the only good thing on network TV that night. Finally (though a sitcom), is How I meet your Mother. I saw parts of the premiere but had no idea what I would watching, but it was hilarious, again lost track for the whole reset of the season, until a friend provided me with recordings of "this great show he found" that he wanted to share. It truly is the funniest thing I've seen in ages and can't wait for season 2. The rerun of "Sweet Taste of Liberty" is on tonight (8/07) on CBS at 8:30. A truly funny episode from a great show.
Comicscape - July 19, 2006 - Jul 20, 2006 - 09:44am
Yeah I own Kingdom come, and a few other random story collections (i.e. the death of Supeman, and these weird 5 pack "collector's packs", with issues that don't seem to have anything to do with each other) and I too am branded with the shield, only mine is in a more classic style and on my shoulder. Thanks for all the suggestions, I'm heading to Stories tonight to look around.

Great, thanks for the advise. Once I get my allowance (gotta love married life), I'm heading over to my locate comic store.
