Now if only they could find a way to make it not nearly as obvious that Chuck Norris was reading cue cards.

Only regret with this film was that Randy Couture had a reduced role, he was one of the highlights of the first one. And the Big Punch Up between Stallone and Van Damme at the end was fucking beautiful in all the right ways :) 

Now all we need is Kurt Russell in the third one and I'll be happy. Perhaps he can play a villain. Stallone's old partner, or cell-mate ;)

I had read soemwhere that there was talk to have Van Damm come back but as a twin brother who would be a good guy now...that could be fun.

Film was pure 100% fun and action gallore. Disapointed Li wasn't in there longer, Norris's character could've used a bit more meat but overall, great fun.

 Yeah definitely bring in Kurt Russell. THAT guy is awesome! 

I really wish they'd been able to keep up the insane action from the opening sequence. 90 minutes of that would be just... unstoppable!

 I enjoyed it as well. Anybody know why they basically replaced Jet Li with an asian chick?? 

I read it was because he didn't really like the first one (Maybe cuz of all the asian/short jokes?? ), and basically did a cameo in the second one as a kind of favor to Stallone. Or he had a scheduling conflict with another film. Not too sure tho

But ya, Van Damme made an awesome bad guy in this one. Chuck Norris's action scenes were pretty awesome as well. I loved the Bruce and Arnold team up too. Bring in Kurt Russell and Steven Seagall for part 3!!!

Violator...my understanding is that Jet-Li had previous commitments and thus only had a short time to be on set which is why he was only in the opening.  I agree Couture got shafted a bit although one of the deleted scenes has just him and Hale Ceaser kicking ass at the airport. 

If they bring in Russell for the next one then they HAVE to make some sort of reference to Tango and Cash!  Only seems right.

What about bringing in Carl Weathers?  he has a history with both Stallone and Arnold.  Or maybe Jesse Ventura?
