A new promo clip for Sylvester Stallone's upcoming action-adventure, The Expendables, has appeared online over night. The clip, which was used for promotional purposes for distribution, can be seen in the video player below. The action film will star Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, Eric Roberts, Dolph Lundgren, Charisma Carpenter, Giselle Itie, Brittany Murphy, David Zayas and Amin Joseph. Sylvester Stallone penned the screenplay and directs for Lionsgate.
Plot Concept: The story follows a team of mercenaries on a mission to overthrow a South American dictator.
The Expendables will hit theaters August 20, 2010.
Look like a made for TV movie or a direct-to-dvd movie. I didnt know they were aiming for pure cheese. I dont know if I can watch this kind of movie anymore. I seen way too many in the 80s and early 90s. If I want cheese like this I will just whip out my DVD of Commando or Tango and Cash or The Running Man or Eraser or Demolition Man.
I guess this movie is supposed to envoke found memories of those times? I'll rent it on Xbox Live.

when stallone did rambo 4 he wanted to release this grahpic red band trailer and the studios thought id showed to much of the violence, so they relesed this crappy ass trailer that made the movie look cheesy as hell i saw that first trailer that wasnt released and i was sold on rambo 4 ,the same goes for this one trialer looks crappy but ill tell you what this movie will do justice if you want a true action flick stallones on a roll yes the trailer doesnt do it alot of justice but im there anyways
yeah everbody will sleep on this movie i bet ,NOT ME ! i was there for rambo 4 on the first day ill be there for this one dont let this trialer fool you, this movie will kick ass great cast ,cant miss
Yeah, I dont know what company they got to make this Trailer but it really makes the movie look horrible. I'll wait for another trailer to pass judgement on whether or not to go see this. Hopefully they get some people that actually know how to put together a movie trailer for the next one.

That was effin' fantastic!!! It's everything you want in this type of movie. I'm not sure why some of you are upset. By the casting and story setup this is what this movie is supposed to be. Blowt up stuff! Kung Fu fights! Unrestrained automatic gunfire! And all done by alot of your favorite action stars! It's not supposed to be Shakespeare or a deep psychological drama. It looks like it delivers what it's selling.Gives me that retro 80's action movie feel.
I'll see it.
