This is an album that seems to pop up in my random playlist fairly often and yet, I don't flip past the tracks as I would with most instrumental pieces. Fafner was a fairly overlooked anime here in the US, and I doubt this disc was any exception ... but it should have been. As I did my research on this release, I found that it was linked to the ever-popular Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, which explained my initial attraction to the quality of the pieces and the emotion exuded through my headphones. This is a subtle journey into yourself as well as into the stars, if you're willing to take it. This release is enough to make me want to buy the anime. Good job, Geneon!
