In what will undoubtedly give Republicans cause to grimace, early stats show that Michael Moore's FAHRENHEIT 9/11 sold approximately two million copies on home video in its first day of release. However, nearly thre5e-quarters of that two million number were sold to rental stores, and it's unknown how many from that portion may have been purchased by consumers at the video store. Nevertheless, retailers estimate that the controversial film will sell another million units over the remainder of its first week of release, establishing it as the bestselling documentary released to video ever.
