I haven't read anything current (about 6 months behind, I think), but it could be a bigger rift between Scott and Xavier (if he's still around).

Marvel's looking to build towards something this year with the X-Men to, shall we say, get them back on track as the current run of books has been somewhat divisive among fans as to whether it works or not. Starting in May, they've got the first two issues of a new miniseries called X-Men: Prelude due out from writer Paul Jenkins. Touting his Eisner award, he's working with Robert De La Torre and Laurence Campbell to put some dissent in the ranks before moving into the bigger story later in the year. This series is being called the calm before the storm, saying that "[...] in the months to come, the Children of the Atom will be faced with a decisive turning point. One that threatens to pit brother against brother, lover against lover, and mutant against mutant."
“To understand what is coming in the X-Men, you need to understand what has already transpired” says X-Men Senior Editor Nick Lowe. “The history of the X-Men is a huge tapestry and what we’re trying to do here is sum up the necessary info, while filling in blanks and adding new twists that will set fanboys a-Twittering. In this series, Paul lays out the complexities for the fans so they can see the foundation that is beginning to crack.”

wow....more 3.99 comics coming our way....what happened to 2.99 comics marvel?
"have to understand what has come before?"
Good luck with that. Given the number of times any given character has been dead, reborn just to be an alien, still dead, mysteriously revived because the reports of their deaths were just greatly exagerated or because a goddess deams their sacrifice to noble to let them go.
When any given writer get 6 months to run whatever they want with a book what kind of continuity can possibly exist in the first place?
Its Civil War 2. Scott vs Wolverine after scott finds out wolverine is still using X-force. Add to that jean grey's return and the fact that scott is with emma, she goes to the arms of wolverine.
Well, I hope its better than this Age of X crap. Not a fan so far. They told stories so many times already about what if the X-men never existed. We know, its bad. We get it.
Whatever happens, I damn sure hope that Havok comes back.
Sounds like Scott is going up against Havok and possibly Emma. Might be the downfall of Cyclops as the top mutant.
