This movie is not nearly as bad as all the critics are saying. There are ALOT of plot holes but i still found the movie entertaining.

I agree, I thought the movie was entertaining. Critics never really give acurate reviews anyway.

I felt like this movie was a long prequel. I hope that they make a sequel and make it much longer and grander. This felt like eating a really good appetizer, smelling the main course, then not being allowed to eat it. I'm spoiled by long great comic adaptations like Batman Begins, Sin City, X-2 and I hope that the next FF, if they have one, moves closer to the caliber of those films as opposed to drivel like Electra.

The movie was a lot of fun, and maybe a little high on the cheese factor. I wasn't expecting an epic, just an entertaining summer popcorn movie and that's exactly what I got. My kids loved it, as did the all-ages audience. Some effects were better than others and some of the acting just ok, but as a fan of the comic for 25 years, it was fun seeing the characters live on the screen.

I'll add a link in the chain ... all the negative reviews of this film are completely off target. This was quite an enjoyable film. I highly recommend it.

I JUST SAW THE MOST HILARIOUS MOVIE OF THE YEAR...Dark Water. Some of my production buddies an I went'cause we had seen everything else out and it was ridiculous. THe movie was so awful that halfway through the movie our packed theatre broke off in 20 different conversations! I have never seen that before! We laughed through the entire movie, seriously you guys should check it out. You will laught 'til you die!

I don't know why anyone went to see Dark Water...even the preview is awful. Ooo water in puddles or dripping through the ceiling...scarey. As for the Fantastic Four...I don't know if I can bring myself to pay seven bucks for this flick.

I mean I hear people saying the reviews are off, but as soon as they say that they temper their comments with a negative. I'm not exactly expecting Shakespear here, but I usually tend to find myself agreeing with Roger Ebert. Basically he said the samething you guys have said. The movie feels like one long exposition about how the FF got their powers, and there's very little actual action.

Ebert is a wank

He and Siskle trashed the original STAR WARS before it HIT BIG then they got on their knees and begged to be forgiven on their YEAR END REVIEW and pretended that everyone misunderstood what they were saying. I wont speak ill of the dead so I'll just pick on Ebert 'cause his ONLY real movie experience outside of being a critic seems to be writing soft core porn.

F4 was a very fun movie that my wife, son & I enjoyed very much. My boy's 5 and I was surprised how much attention he gave to Jessica Alba. He has good taste for a 5 year old.

Saw this one tonight, not bad as far as superhero movies go i give it 6/10, not sure about doom though would it of killed them to make him more sorcerer and less altered human? i dont think its that much more of a stretch. oh well movin onto sin city next so we shall see, batman begins is still the ultimate comic adaption to come out so far this year.
