If the writers would get it right Dr.Doom would rule.  Doom is a scientist and sorcerer, not some corporate nerd.  The scene in the board room (FF1) was like Jack Nicholson's Joker with the handbuzzer weapon. Not very interesting.

The writers need to be more faithful to the comic and think BIG!  We want Latveria and Doombots and lots of mindgames (this is what really made the relationship between Doom and Richards interesting in the comic book.)

Bruce Willis would be perfect for Thing's voice!  Remember Look Whos' Talking?  "It's Clobberin' Time boys and girls!"

The only things I liked from Tim Story's run was the Fantasticar (well done) and Silver Surfer, so let Doug Jones keep the role please!

Other than that I wish that the rights to the Fantastic Four were back at Marvel just like the X-Men!  >:(

If the rights reverted back to Marvel for the FF, it would rock since the Infinity Gauntlet is gonna be in THOR, they could have easily used someone like THANOS as the villain for the next FF movie. But someone here said something about the Mole Men, which would be an excellent story to start from. Also, I would love to see Galactus done correctly. I never got my awesome shot of Galactus' head looking over New York while the FF stare up in awe. It would make more sense to have Reed and Victor as friends for the entire first film. Then have the accident where Doom is trying to communicate with the dead and the explosion damages his face at the end of the 1st film. In the sequel, they could introduce him by showing him with monks in Tibet where he has become their master and show him forge the suit. Doctor Doom is one of the most deadliest villains in the Marvel U, so his story arc should be longer and better. I think Adrien Brody is an alright choice, but I go with the other guy they're considering...Jonathan Rhys Meyers. I just can't get past Adrien Brody's nose. He's a good actor, but Reed didn't have a honker like that. I thought Alice Eve would've been a better Emma Frost. Her body in a White Queen outfit would've caused men to have seizures. I would prefer Amber Heard or Yvonne Strahovski to be Sue Storm. Mike Vogel could work as Johnny Storm and he was even up for the Cap role. I don't understand why a wrestler can't do the motion capture and voice of Ben Grimm if that's all it is then I always thought Goldberg had a perfect voice to play Ben. Moyer will be fine I guess as Victor.

I also think Chris Pine could play Johnny Storm.

That director short list is 1000x better than Tim Story.

Joe Carnahan was in the running for The Avengers so give it to him. He understood what made the A-Team such a pleasure to watch. If Marvel feels like he is good enough to be on a list of directors for The Avengers, then give the FF movie to him. He does a combination of action and humor rather well. He can do gritty drama if you've seen NARC. Lets see what he can with a comic book property.

I would love to see a Secret Wars movie down the road at some point. For that to happen though, Disney would have to get off it's corporate ass and write a pretty heafty check. Maybe FOX will give up and sell the rights back. I'd like to see another movie either way... just with a better cast. I'm looking at you, Sue Storm!

Narc is awesome.  I wish Carnahan would go back to something like that.  I'm still waiting on his Killing Pablo movie but that looks like it will never get made.  I think he has something on the pipeline with Bradley Cooper called The Grey about a group of guys being hunted down by wolves in Artic.  I read the script review and it sounded interesting.

Please, not Brody for Reed Richards. If it's a reboot then Doctor Doom (done correctly) should be a part, maybe as the bad guy pulling the strings of some other villain.

<facepalm on the Fantasic Four reboot>

XIII or whatever it's called was actually decent once you got past the low budget and the chubby Val Kilmer.

Until someone admits to me that Galactus isn't a freaking dust cloud, I'm not watching sh*t. Reboot or no.
