Word has been spreading quickly this weekend that the Sci Fi Channel has cancelled their beloved show FARSCAPE. This news comes after an online chat session that took place Friday night with star Ben Browder and executive produder David Kemper. Apparently, the cable network has opted to not go ahead with a fifth season for the show, meaning the current fourth season will be the last.
Although we have yet to see an official press release on this matter from either Sci Fi or The Henson Company, it has been reported that during the chat Kemper and Browder revealed that shooting on the fourth season will be completed this week, and that the sets for the show will be torn down shortly thereafter. Of course, an online petition to save the show has already popped up.
