FARSCAPE mini-series officially announced

To be broadcast late this year

Official word came down today from The Sci Fi Channel that the network will broadcast the new FARSCAPE four-hour mini-series in production in Australia. The mini, called "Peacekeeper War", will be broadcast on the network in the fourth quarter of this year.

Sci Fi confirmed that the mini picks up where the final episode of the series left off, and that all of the regulars from the series will return in the new FARSCAPE adventure. The network also promises "the mini-series will bring resolution -- FARSCAPE-style -- to many of the burning questions left unanswered." The show was written by series creator Rockne O'Bannon and executive producer David Kemper and is being directed by Brian Henson.
