So Iron Man1/2,Thor,,Incredible Hulk,Capt America, and Avengers were basically the first chapter in the overall saga. Iron Man 3,Thor 2, Capt America 2 GoG, and Avengers2 is the second half of the the story

so far off for all of these.  Is it sad that i am looking more forward to Thor than Iron-man.  Sad as Iron man is my fav of all of them and almost ridiculous as i made fun of thor for so long before it came out, but i admit i was dead wrong and it was great

My speculations on Phase 3:

Hulk 2, Thor 3 (2016)

Dr. Strange, Ant Man and Wasp, Captain America 3: Enter the Black Panther (2017)

GoTG 2, Avengers 3: The Infinity War (2018)

Dr. Strange would play a HUGE roll in Phase 3 as someone who could give the heroes a fighting chance against Thanos. Strange could transport the heroes to the villainous titan, where they would confront other villains along the way.

Yeah, it's loads of fun to speculate!

DC wont ever be in the same league as Marvel!

DC is trying, but I think the main problem I have with DC is the Super Hero names...the more popular names have had movies or TV shows i.e. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman.  The lesser knowns couldn't carry their own movie because it sounds silly to walk up to a movie theatre and ask for two tickets to Booster Gold or the Blue Beetle.  I know that sounds like a dumb reason not to like something, but as a whole Marvel has much more marketable characters.  Of course I may be over simplifying,

stonedtodeath- I for one don't believe you're being overly simplistic.  That doesn't mean there aren't ways around the problem.  If I were making a movie featuring Booster Gold and Blue Beetle, I wouldn't put their names in the title.  I'd just call it The Brave and the Bold: City Under Seige or something.  The Brave and the Bold has been DC's team-up title for decades, so now that the latest Batman animated series isn't using it anymore, the movie side of things could take it over.  Turing the title into a franchise would be a great way to introduce the various lesser known characters to the movie going public without having to address a wonky sounding superhero name in the title.

I'm afraid, they will have to start replacing some of the actors due to the time frame.  Isn't Avengers 2 Downey's last?  I can't think of anyone who could embody that character the way he does.  Anyway, I'm excited about all the projects, but GOTG.  Hope they surprise me, but I was expecting more than a second tier super group that I've never cared for since their first incarnation.

BTW, where is Ant Man in that line up?  It will be nice to finally see Pym on screen and hopfully sign on with the Avengers.  There are a couple of the members I wouldn't mind seeing replaced (Hawkeye and Black Widow.)

Avengers 2 is the last one RDJ is presently contracted to be in.  That doesn't mean a new contract can't be negotiated.  Considering how much money he made on The Avengers, I'm sure they can come to some kind of agreement.

Especially when you consider how little work RDJ had to put in on The Avengers for his paycheck.  Half of the scenes his character appears in consist only of voiceover work intercut with HUD close-ups inside the armor from his perspective while CGI handled everything else.  The rest consisted of two scenes in Stark Tower, a couple of scenes at the conference table on the SHIELD Helicarrier, and two or three scenes in the Gamma lab.  Plus, he got to wear blue jeans and a t-shirt for all of them, instead of armor and tracking markers.  Not bad for $20 million.
