God, I cannot wait for this movie!

Wow. This actually looked pretty decent. When I first read about this, I had zero desire to see it.   Looks like I may have to revise my opinion...

I don't care how deep a parent company's pockets are, a company doesn't want to throw away money. If a movie can be made for $125M, why would they give it a budget of $150M? Of course they will try to get Whedon not to go overboard and waste money. I have no problem with this. It's business. I would imagine if Whedon could sit down w/ the bean-counters and demonstrate that he needs more money to keep the movie from flopping, they'll pony it up some cash.

I'm partial to Nolan's Batman, Wayne and Joker. Not to mention the movies as overall entertainment.  Doesn't get much better, IMHO.

I would absolutely die a happy man if no one ever mentioned one more word about the f-ing nipples on the batsuit from the Schumacher era. Does it really matter? There was so much more in those movies to love and to hate that nipples were pretty much near the bottom of the list of concerns for me. I think the entire issue was waaaaaaaaaay overblown.

I'm still not sure about this.  I'll have to see how they approach it and cast it.  I still say the way to go is to do photo-real mo-cap (a la Beowulf). But I still haven't gotten that phone call from Mr. Howard asking me for my opinion...
