Sigourney Weaver Up for ALIENS 5 - Jul 05, 2008 - 02:34pm
She must be hard up for money. Odd, given that she still keeps fairly busy. Maybe she just is a big spender. As far as the last two movies, I didn't care for them the first time I saw either of them, but mostly because they weren't Alien or Aliens. Once I got past that, I went back and rewatched them and actually enjoyed them. They are the types of movies that, if I see them on cable, I can watch them pretty much any time to kill an hour or two and thoroughly enjoy them.

First Official Trailer for EARTH STOOD STILL Online - Jul 03, 2008 - 11:36am
Finally got it to load. Before it was just a blank page. I must admit, as skeptical as I am about this remake, the trailer looked pretty damn good! I actually like Keanu. I think he gets a raw deal most of the time. And Jennifer Connelly, while she does need to eat a cheeseburger or two, is still smokin' hot!

Director Yates Talks Intro of HALF BLOOD PRINCE - Jul 03, 2008 - 11:26am
I think they could have included a lot more of the 4th & 5th books if they made the movies a little longer. The first two movies were 3 hours and did killer box office, so the target audience showed they could handle the longer run times. The only explanation I can come up with is greed. Shorter run time = extra shows during the day = more $$. That being said, I think some of the sub-plots (Bill/Fleur, ELF) could be sacrificed and still keep the overall story intact. In Deathly Hallows, many of the subplots are more integral to the main story, hence the splitting into 2 movies. Just out of curiosity, why did I mean the 9th book?

Your Redskins showed a lot of heart this year! It's a shame Joe Gibbs decided to retire, though!
