That's it, I just shit in my pants....THIS will be the best movie of this summer.
With Warner Bros. Pictures recently wrapping up their "It All Ends" movie poster campaign for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows- Part 2, it looks like the studio is also ready to unleash their final full trailer for the film. As this latest trailer suggests, it all comes to an end here. Watch the final trailer down below and sound off my fellow Maniacs.
The final Harry Potter film features an ensemble cast which includes Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Warwick Davis, Tom Felton, Ralph Fiennes, Michael Gambon, Jason Isaacs, Alan Rickman, David Thewlis, Julie Walters, Bonnie Wright and Kelly Macdonald. Franchise director David Yates returns behind the camera, based on a screenplay by returning writer Steve Kloves.
Plot Concept: In Part 2 of the epic finale, the battle between the good and evil forces of the Wizarding world escalates into an all-out war. The stakes have never been higher and no one is safe. But it is Harry Potter who may be called upon to make the ultimate sacrifice as he draws closer to the climactic showdown with Lord Voldemort. It all ends here.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows- Part 2 arrives in 3D/2D/IMAX theaters July 15, 2011.

Is it July 15th yet? Every trailer is more awesome then the next. Plus, this looks like it will be worth the extra bucks for 3D

Same here Jedi. Damn ... I actually shed a tear watching that trailer when they showed Harry's dead loved ones. I always loved that part in the books. I kinda wish they hadn't shown that yet. After reading all 7 books I don't know how many times, and seeing the movies many times as well, this is finally the end of Harry Potter. No more books, no more movies. And it looks like it will end on such a high. I can't wait. This is the film of the summer for me.
On a side note. I always love seeing how the special effects evolve from trailer to trailer seeing as early trailers rarely have the final shots. For example, compare the shots from the new trailer to the older trailer where all the death eaters are shooting the white lights out of their wands. In the first many of them are just points of light wheras now there are more and all have smokey trails.
After watching it again I just realized they blatantly give away a major death from the film. That's stupid. There was a shot in the older trailer that gave away another death (not as obviously) as well. Do they want to ruin it for all the fans who haven't read the books?
Shame on anyone watching trailers for this movie at this point. Warner Brothers has gone WAAAAAAAAAAAAY overboard promoting this film. If you've seen every trailer and bonus scene from the final film you've pretty much seen the movie in a serialized form. There is ZERO need to generate hype for this film. By the way, gonna wait a week to see this so I can see this AND Captain America as a double feature. It may just be THE best movie day of my life!!!!!!!!!
If you REALLY want to avoid a huge spoiler, avoid looking at the track listing for the soundtrack. Maybe by now, it's not such a spoiler for a lot, but still one if people don't want to know anything about the movie going in and haven't read the books.
I don't think people have caught on to the spoilers in the trailers though. Most are just in awe at the pure spectacle of the whole thing. And I agree that it'll be THE movie of the Summer. Period.
