Final Destination 1 was such a turd that I'm still trying to figure out how they got Final Destination 2 off the ground!

I really enjoyed the first movie, and the second and third parts had fun elements to them. I just don't know if I can get into another chapter.

I thought the first one contained a novel idea that was well executed. Unfortunately, as with a lot of horror movie franchises, the later installments can never capture the novelty of the first movie, so they become little more than excercises in creative killing mechanisms.

It would have been great if they could have just stopped with one movie, but since these movies generate about $50M each with no signs of diminished box office, I suspect they'll keep cranking them out until one tanks at the box office. I noticed the latest one seemed much bloodier than the first, so it appears they've adapted the franchise to fit the current trend of extreme gore in horror movies.

If Glen Morgan and James Wong are involved, I'm there.

I`m liked the first one. The other installments were okay, because in the 2nd, they at least found ways to connect the 2 movies together. The 3rd one was a big stretch and I don`t really see the reason for a 4th, apart from money. The sad thing is that with this premise of "The Reaper" coming after you, they can do this franchise forever. Its not like anyone is ever going to beat Death. It`s not Freddy or Jason. Death is the ultimate horror villian.
