David Fincher will direct the movie adaptation of 'The Killer' a graphic novel written by Matz (née Alexis Nolent) and illustrated by Luc Jacamon, reports today's Variety.
Allesandro Camon will write the script, for the film which is described as being "about a top assassin suddenly plagued by his conscience and a highly competent cop hot on his tail."
Paramount Pictures has purchased the film rights for Fincher. Brad Pitt's Plan B Entertainment and Alexandra Milchan are producing.
The graphic novel was originally published in France in 1988 by Casterman before circulating in the U.S. under Archaia Studio Press.
