A reminder to all you Maniacs that Warner Brothers and New Line with be streaming The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug sneak peak and Q&A with Peter Jackson. The streaming sneak peak will be available March 24th, at 3:00 PM. 


You can also unlock a sneak peak of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug on March 24 when you purchase the movie on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Download. 


Official Press Release: Peter Jackson will host a live first look at “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug,” the second film in The Hobbit Trilogy, on Sunday, March 24 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern/Noon Pacific. Content will be streamed live and an edited version will be archived on the Trilogy’s official website. Access to the live event will be limited to holders of an UltraViolet code available by purchasing “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack or 2-Disc Special Edition DVD.  Visit www.thehobbit.com/sneak for more information.

 To me it's not boring.  As a huge Tolkien fan, I'd love to see it.  But I refuse to do what I did for each of the LotR movies (and the OT for Star Wars before  that) and go out and purchase every new one that comes along.  I'll wait until the Extended Editions come out, and get them all together.

The clip at the ned was worth the wait for me.  Plus I love to watch how movies are made so I was cool with it all, but I hated missing IU vs Temple.

Always nice to see Sylvester McCoy. One wonders if the bit with Stephen Fry was planned or if he just sent them that. The rest was kinda lame but fun in a bullshitting around the tube sort of way. Peter Jackson is for all the world a hobbit himself, in all the best ways.
