I am usually an optimistic guy but this looks like cheesy crap....I know its not a lot to go on. A b-movie at best, but then again the original was pretty much a b-movie as well

- Conan The Barbarian
The most legendary Barbarian of all time is back this Summer. Having thrived and evolved for eight consecutive decades in the public imagination - in prose and graphics, on the big screen and small, in games and properties of all kinds- Conan's exploits in the Hyborian Age now come alive like never before in a colossal 3D action-adventure film.
A quest that begins as a personal vendetta for the fierce Cimmerian warrior soon turns into an epic battle against hulking rivals, horrific monsters, and impossible odds, as Conan realizes he is the only hope of saving the great nations of Hyboria from an encroaching reign of supernatural evil.
Conan the Barbarian will slash into 3D/2D theaters August 19, 2011.
Thanks to raa2001 for the submission.

It's a teaser trailer and it really did just that, tease us.
I'm actually feeling somewhat optimistic about this. I won't try to hold it up against Arnie's version but I think this may be truer to the character as described by Howard. The only reservation I have is that Nispel's other more closely related work to this, Pathfinder, sucked ass. So I hope he has brought his game up
It's a perfect SYFY movie of the week. The dialogue and the way he says it, is all cheese. Crap is a compliment to what I seen so far.
Movie looks Suck-taculer. He looks too clean, too hollywood. The smoke images were not impressive, and didnt make me feel egaer to see the film. In all honesty it just reminded me of the terrible D&D movies.
Cant tell anything from the trailer. Agree with Wiseguy...we've been teased.
not really a trailer, was it? I dont know, something about Mamoa's eyes that bother me, just doesnt have that Conan look in them. If only Crixus from tv's Spartacus was a foot taller, he would have been perfect.
