The crew that gave us the FUGITIVE sequel U.S. MARSHALS is at it again, this time with hopes to create an hour-long drama version of the show on ABC.
The network has ordered a pilot of the show, to be produced by FUGITIVE and U.S. MARSHALS producers Arnold and Anne Kopelson.
Now, you might remember, after the 1993 smash, THE FUGITIVE, CBS attempted to revive the franchise as a weekly TV show (the 1960s version of which was the basis for the movie. See how it's all circles within circles?) That didn't go so well, but the producers are hopeful Larry Ferguson (HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER) will pen a script that'll set the show apart.
If you'll remember, MARSHALS was a quasi-sequel to THE FUGITIVE, centering on Tommy Lee Jones crusty law enforcement role.
