God I hope this bombs! I hate Shia LaBlah!!!!

Even if he was not in it, it looks like Matrix ripoff.

Wow....Matrix ripoff,,,,that's fresh,,,,plus, how exacatly? All the bullet time in the trailer, all the machines? Neo?,,,I think it looks good. I used to hate Shia due to a story I heard about him, but that is stupid. He is a good actor and he makes decent flicks (barring the new Indy movie)...plus I love anything with Rosario Dawson...plus why do people wish that movies bomb? I mean, why not just wish that someone gets the HI-Five then? or cancer? I know its not on the same par, but I still don't get it....although, I do wish Al Sharpton wolud die of something.

Dazzler why do you hate Shia LaBlah so much?? Like him or not he is a really good young actor that is going to blow up really big. This movie does not look like Matrix one bit. Why because someone called him on the phone and told him where to go? I dont see no robots or super agents defying gravity chasing after him. I dont see him flying like superman. I dont hope this movie bombs, actually I enjoyed the trailer alot and I am going to see it when it comes out. I dont really know whats the problem with some of you guys hating on the kid, but you guys really need to chill. I hope his career blows up really big.

I'm so there for this flick. The teaser looked nice, now the trailer has me sold, definitely checkin this out. Plus, Turtle is in this, oh if they would've only cast Drama also.
Also that dude from Can't Hardly Wait is in this flick, I thought he was dead or somethin, I remember when he was rumored or almost cast for Nightcrawler in X2 bet he shouldn't have turned that down, although the guy who played Nightcrawler hasn't done shit since, or at least dont remember him being in anything I've seen recently.
What does this have to do with Eagle Eye?

Check out the new Dark Knight Tv spots yo!!

Dazzler, you and all the Shia haters are going to miss out on some good flicks if you let your hate guide you. Shia is at the top of everyone's list apparently so he'll get to pick and choose what films he's in.

The trailer looks really good and I wouldn't compare it to the Matrix just cause someone is telling him what to do, also what wolfman said. This looks hot, I'm there too on opening day.

Are you talking about Ethan Embry? Y'know, that does sound familiar. I'm glad, though, Alan Cumming was so good as Nightcrawler. He's a British actor and has done a lot of stuff over there. Not a big name in American cinema. I'm sure he does a lot of stage work, too.

I'm not sure why the Shia hating. I think he's pretty good. Regardless of whether I personally like him, he seems to be the next "It" boy, so he gets first crack at all the good movies. This definitely looks hot. I don't know how Dazzler gets that this looks like the Matrix, just because of 1 phone call. I didn't know Rosario Dawson and Billy Bob were in it and I forgot about Michael Chiklis (September 2 y'all!). This looks good. I am there.

A couple of things here. The trailer was cool and I like the concept. I'm always game for some deep conspiracy stuff.

No this doesn't look like the Matrix. If anything it reminds me a little bit like Bourne. If anything....

Why do they have to show us who wrote the check for this? Do I care, does anybody care, that Spielberg backed this financially? Uh, NO! What? Putting that little credit up there for the trailer is going to make the audience think, "oooh, nobody writes a check like Spielberg. It must be awesome." I hate that shit. They should have given D.J. a credit for directing 'Disturbia'.

Oh and one more thing. Wiseguy Shia is only on top of one guys list... Spielberg's. I don't hate on the guy, because, like fft pointed out, I don't know him personally. He's an ok actor, but he's very smart with sticking with Spielberg because he is going to get noticed. Look what Spielberg did for Tom Hanks. Shit. We should all be that lucky.

Speaking of sticking with Spielberg, has anyone heard anything from Will Bigham? He won the apprenticeship with Spielberg on that show On the Lot, then... nothing. His IMDb credits show a bit part acting in a B-movie (Michael Pare & Theresa Russell), but nothing directing. And actually, upon further review, I think that listing is an error. There's a Will Binghan with no other credits to his name listed as "Husband" which is the same character name as is listed under Will Bigham.

What did Spielberg do for Hanks?

wolfmanX • Jun 25, 2008, 11:12am •
He bought Hanks new sneakers.
