Two months after the first teaser premiered, Summit Entertainment and Yahoo have released the first full trailer for their upcoming adaptation of Twilight, based on the teen adult vampire novel series by Stephenie Meyer. The film will star Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Billy Burke, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, Cam Cigandet, Kellan Lutz, Anna Kendrick and Taylor Lautner. Catherine Hardwicke directed the vampire tale, based on a screenplay by Melissa Rosenberg.

Plot Summary: "Twilight" is an action-packed, modern day love story between a vampire and a human. Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) has always been a little bit different, never caring about fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix high school. When her mother remarries and sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn't expect much of anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a boy unlike any she's ever met. Intelligent and witty, he sees straight into her soul. Soon, Bella and Edward are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance. Edward can run faster than a mountain lion, he can stop a moving car with his bare hands – and he hasn't aged since 1918. Like all vampires, he's immortal. But he doesn't have fangs, and he doesn't drink human blood; Edward and his family are unique among vampires in their lifestyle choice. To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited 90 years for – a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. But what will Edward & Bella do when James (Cam Gigandet), Laurent (Edi Gathegi) and Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre), the Cullens' mortal vampire enemies, come to town, looking for her? Based on the Stephenie Meyer book.

Twilight will hit theaters Dec. 12, 2008.

It's based on a teenie-girl vampire series (think Sweet Valley High meets Anne Rice) how good could it possibly be considering it'll be geared at that audience as well? More vampires walking around during the day?

This reminds me of The Covenant, totally unimpressive. It'll probably be huge because the book supposedly is big with teenage girls.

They made the lost boys sequel straight to dvd why is this p.o.s. going to the movies? They both look unoriginal and just as pointless. I'll be skipping this.

Could be worse... Gee, how's that for a stunning endorsement of a movie?

All I can tell you is that my 15 year old daughter is completely jacked to see this movie. She hates the Comic-Con, but asked me if I could get tickets this year, because the cast and Director is speaking at a forum.

I know nothing more about it.

Wow that Robert Pattinson is dreamy. I can’t wait to be swept off my feet by this incredibly gay film.
