First look at CLONE WARS action figures

Hasbro has released news about its upcoming STAR WARS action figures for Spring 2004. The big news is the debut of the CLONE WARS lineup of 3 ¾" figures, based on the upcoming Cartoon Network animated series. The first wave of figures will include Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu and new characters Asajj Ventress, Durge and Janus Greejatus.

Hasbro will also bring out new figures based on the classic trilogy of films. Luke Skywalker in his Jedi robe (from the beginning of RETURN OF THE JEDI), R2-D2 with Sail Barge drink tray and R1-G 4 droid have all been revealed on Hasbro's website. As well, new 12" figures including Alec Guinness' Obi-Wan Kenobi, Garindan and a two-pack Jawa set will also be out in Spring '04.

While Hasbro chose not to reveal the looks of the new CLONE WARS action figures, TheForce.net didn't have any qualms about showing us what the figs will look like. See 'em for yourself right here.
