I want to comment on the Movie Mavens's top ten list and I can't find the link.  This site needs a section just for her.  What's up?  I'm glad she picked Star Trek that was the best.

"Two more rounds. No WINCING! No WHINING!" Hahaha! Awesome.

shac, SgtTech is getting a quadruple serving. It isn't about the money the film will make SgtTech is about all the ranting you've done about its look, calling it crap,  and all. All of which has been disavowed by pretty much everyone that has seeing it. Even the pretentious critics have had to admit AVATAR's greatness.

Too bad you painted yourself into a corner so of course you'll never admit to been wrong. Most naysayers at least left an opening by saying they'll wait to see. You on the other are still pouting cause Cameron is finished with his Terminator run, it should've been left at that or gotten a true visionary to continue it

So as of the 18th it'll be everyone else telling you LOL sir, you were wrong

Xerxes: "I’ve finished the plot and I’m getting started on the artwork." So is Miller doing a limited series/graphic novel first or does "artwork" refer to storyboards? Not very clear, here.

Have you even read the kick-ass comic book, SgtTechCom, it's really not that good, to me anyway. I'll agree with you on Iron Man and Robin Hood but I'm more excited about Avatar.

He's writing a whole new graphic novel if I'm not mistake, Ozy.

Somthing doesn't sit right with me in that Iron Man 2 clip, the scene where Stark is in the suit on the stage. It's almost like that scene in Spider-Man 3 where Spider-Man is getting awarded or better yet, the Ninja Rap scene in TMNT 2. I dunno, we'll just have to wait and see.

Amazing....

Back when G.I. Joe came out, everyone pointed and laughed and said "look, it barely made back it's budget! Mwahaha!"

Now, with Avatar, "It isn't about the money the film will make!"

And yeah, I want to see it, I'm just not bouncin' off the walls over it. It's going to have to be DVD get for me (for reasons I've stated previously), though it will almost certainly be a "Buy sight unseen" purchase.

The fact that everyone is so hot on telling others there OPINIONS are wrong is just plain stupid. Like what you like, don't what you don't, and give others the same damn common courtesy, howsabout?

Wiseguy 12/15/2009 6:48:24 PM

See, you're coming in at the back end WarCry. I personally don't care what anyone likes or not. The point I was making was that SgtTech has been stating that he hates AVATAR (which is cool if you don't like the look of the movie) since the summer but that it was also going to be crap. Now that more than a few have seen it and have critiqued it  it's pretty apparent that he was wrong. So as you can see, this discussion was never about money.

Now as far as money goes, we know the movie is going to make big bank, period. But that wasn't SgtTech's point at the beginning, he's now trying to say that despite that it's going to make money the film still sucks cause he can't back up from his stance

Btw, I never laughed at GI Joe. I actually thought it was a fun film and I always said the film made its money back and they get points on toy sales on top not to mention dvd sales, so you can bet your bottom dollar they made a profit.
