I guess it doesn't look too bad though the context of the picture with him eating an apple and having that 'doh' look on his face takes alot away from it. I'm going to reserve judgement until one within the context of the movie, not just srtanding around the set, comes up.

I will go as far to say that I bet atleast five people complain that either he's not blonde, not muscular looking enough, or that he's not Tyler Mane.

You're right MrJawbreaking. And let me be the first. What the fuck, he couldn't get on some HGH and found a good trainer ala Hugh or all the guys from 300. Fuck, in one of those pix he looks like he got man-boobs. I love Liev's acting and it better be top shelf for this film for me to overlook all his shortcomings. This is my first negative thoughts about this film.
He was already too short for the role and the fact that Hugh is too tall only compounds the problem. You'd think he would've gone the extra mile to pull off the character. I'm very disappointed. Like I said his acting is going to have to blow me away.
Just went over the pictures again, totally out of shape, and smoking?
Maybe they'll use that camera trick to make him look taller and more menacing, the same way they made Xerxes look so tall in 300.

i second that wiseguy562, this movie is headed downhill fast.

Yikes. I'm in better shape than this guy. All I do is play video games, eat and jog like once a week. I could totally be Creed. PLUS he's doing Naomi Watts? What a douchebag.

He looked ok until the pics with his shirt off. He didn't look like he was in much better shape than I am! I mean, he's a good actor, but you would think he would have beefed up a little...

Why does Hugh Jackman look like he just caught feeling up Liev? I don't like the military project bullshit granted that is what Weapon X is but isnt there a better way of doing the story? Wait Its Hollywood. However I am not upset about the look of Creed is arms look a tad flabby but other than that he looks like THE PUNISHER. in the early pic we saw a few months ago for P:WZ.

Actually he looks like Vincent D'onofrio in Full Metal Jacket.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: the way people bitch about this movie reminds me A LOT of the way people bitched about Singer's first X-Men outing. "Ian MacKellan's not built enough to be Magneto!" "The guy who's playing Wolverine is such a pretty boy!" "Halle Berry's wig looks like crap." (Okay, you did have a point with that last one.)

Schrieber looks good as Creed -- he looks to be in roughly the same shape Jackman's in. The photography can be unflattering, but that's because it's not trying to be flattering. It's trying to capture some pictures.

I'm reserving judgment on this 'til I see a trailer, and even then, only somewhat, because I want to see this sucker and I've got a lot of faith in the director, the screenwriter, and Jackman.

The guy playing the Blob should replace Liev as Creed. He actually looks the part and who knows maybe he can act. He was a credible loon in Smokin Aces.

I suppose there's nothing here that a little photo magic (lighting, angles) can't solve. Or CGI. I know Tyler Mane isn't Liev's equal as a thespian, but I do kinda miss the menacing size of a giant especially since Wolverine is now 6ft and change. Hopefully Liev's taken a page out of the late Mr. Ledger's handbook and will make up for the lack of imposing size and strength with menace.
