Been staying off these sites to avoid any further Avengers talk/spoilerish info but had to check this out...

awesome. I've loved everything I've seen about this new Spidey. Glad that even if briefly the Lyzard will wear the famous lab coat

momitchell, I'll tell you why. You can clearly, well maybe not clearly, see the spiderwebbing left in what I bet is the sewer scene we saw in the trailer. We know Pete/Spidey always webs the camera where the action is for the shots. So I can see the Lyzard finding and deducing that a camera left in such a spot can only belong to the one and same
 

Gotta agree with Higgy here, when you use the same camera as Spidey then you definitely shouldn't label that baby.

 I still think this will be an average movie at best. I really really really hope its great, but I'm not feeling it at all.

"And he supposedly overheard them talking about it?" Then to disagree you must have overheard Sony execs singing the movie's praises and high fiving each other after the screening? I haven't read anywhere that they are happy with the final product so the score for rumors they hate it is 1 and the score for rumors they love it is 0.

@Higgy: Totally agree.  Would have liked more reptilian features like in the comics.  @aegrant:  Pete and Curt Connors (aka the Lizard) are actually good friends.  But, I don't remember Lizard knowing Spidey's identity.  Been twenty years since I've read a Spidey comic (after the Clone Saga debacle), so I may have missed something.  But you're right, it seems every villain seems to find out Pete's Spidey...

True.  But just becaue we should or shouldn't do something doesn't mean we are wise enough to follow through. I for instance think of many things I should do but don't. Maybe it never crossed his mind to take his name off or he's like me ignorantly confident that nothing bad will happen so he doesn't remove his name. I do that with car keys all the time. I KNOW I should make a copy but I'm confident that I won't lose both sets I have. Yeah - not true.

 Not quite a "First" look. Just a "closer" look.

I wasn't excited about this movie at all when it was first announced and even when early pics and teasers were coming out.  As we get closer though, I'm getting stoked for this as well as Avengers and TDKR.  

Looking foward to this more than "Mysterion Rise's", cause at least we havent seen the Lizard in a Movie unlike "Mysterion Rise's" where we have seen the same characters before.
