Hmmm, I like Ben Kingsley and all, but I still think Chow Yun fat would've made a much better and cooler Mandarin, Chinese or not.

I'm sorry, I'm quite sure he will do a great job, but when I first looked at the picture I burst out in laughter.
He does kind of look like an aging Rocko from "The Boondock Saints"...LOL...still looking forward to his portrayal. Chow Yun Fat would have made a great Asian Mandarin, but considering that The Ten Rings was already established in the movie universe as a Middle East terrorist organization, I'm fine with Ben Kingsley. He looks Middle Eastern enough in the picture.
I wanted an Antarctican to play the Mandarin. Those proud people never get good movie roles.
Them walrus jockeys kin keep to their dayum selves, fer all I care.
SC- lol. Btw wiseguy educated me a while ago that the Mandarin is actually half Chinese and half British, not middle eastern. Which is why he convinced that a Ben Kingsley playing a guy named the "Mandarin" was ok.
Sarcastic: LOL. Yes, he does look like Rocko. Check out the Boondock Saints on Facebook. Unfortunately, Rocko has gained about a hundred pounds.
I'm curious to find out, if he is indeed a part of a middle eastern organization, why would he have a Chinese fetish? He definitely doesn't look like a "Mandarin".
Gotta admit I'm digging the look. It seems like a good approach which hopefully no one will bitch about it being offensive
Mandarin should look into some Proactiv though
