Relativity Media has provided popcorn-eating genre fans with their first visual glimpse for Shark Night 3D. This first screenshot centers on leading star Sara Paxton dealing with the bloody beast that will try to consume her character and friends in the waters. Check it out below. Other potential victims include her co-stars Dustin Milligan, Katharine McPhee, Chris Carmack, Alyssa Diaz, Joel David Moore, Donal Logue, Sinqua Walls and Chris Zylka. Director David R. Ellis (Snakes on a Plane, The Final Destination) led from the helm, based on a script by Jesse Studenberg and Will Hayes.

Plot Concept: The plot surrounds a group of college friends spending a weekend at a house on the lake, only to find that danger lurks beneath its waters.

Shark Night 3D will swim its way into theaters September 2, 2011.

 umm.... HA!

Wiseguy 4/16/2011 11:10:06 AM

Crazy college kids always getting into some shenanigans

I'll be there for the 3D mayhem when this opens

Mossy1221 4/16/2011 12:47:33 PM

Oh yeah... I forgot to mention as long as there is no 3D floating penis in it, I will be there too.

JarrodSarafin 4/16/2011 1:31:09 PM

Oh come on, Mossy...You didn't at least laugh when the 3D floating penis struck theaters last summer. :)

Tashiro 4/17/2011 7:55:03 AM

Yeah, because everyone knows sharks love the taste of human flesh.  Oh, wait, that's not true.  *sigh*

acidsquall73 4/17/2011 8:53:59 AM

At least for the one 3D floating penis shot we got, we got a whole bunch more 3D booby shots. And a couple 3D beaver shots to along with it. That's acceptable.

Mossy1221 4/17/2011 12:26:41 PM

Ofcourse I laughed JarrodSarafin!   Might have groaned, maybe even cried a little too.  (Kiddiing) :)    It was humorous indeed.

And yes acidsquall, there was so much more that was acceptable in that movie.

InnerSanctum 4/17/2011 12:26:57 PM

Wow, I'm not sure if I'm sad or happy that I never saw Pirahna 3D.

InnerSanctum 4/17/2011 1:45:42 PM

BTW, I hope this is better than Jaws 3D.  The shark is certainly smaller.  He can't have much of an appetite.  But, let me guess, he is a genetically altered shark who can breath in a non salt water lake.

redhairs99 4/17/2011 4:04:55 PM

Actually, InnerSanctum, there are some species of sharks that can breathe just fine in fresh water.
