Well it happened, a picture of a Decepticon from the upcoming film Transformers has leaked onto the Internet.

The picture first showed up over at AICN, and is now making the rounds across the Internet.

You can see it to the left.

A friend over at the World of KJ forums tells me that it is a scene featuring 3 soldiers running in the middle of a desert from the Decepticon Scorponok.  One of the soldiers is Epps (Tyreese).

Pretty bad however that you can't tell what Decepticon is that. Movie is heading toward the suck side of the reviewer.

you actually can tell what decepticon that is. its scorponoks you can tell. but wasnt scorpnoks part of beast wars??? i really hope this movie comes out very good. i will be heart broken if it comes out to suck. i saw a picture thats floating around that says its megatron which looked pretty ugly. it doesnt look like him and he turns into a alien jet??? whats the deal? this doesnt sound like transformers G1. and optimus prime doesnt look like the original G1. and Bumble bee a muscle car?? im really nervous about this. please let me be wrong.

well it,s scorponok and no wolfman x scorponok was in the original transformers headmaster series to be exact and the transformer comunity has been up in arms about most of the movie actually... they all blame micheal bay for his euh.... INSPIRATION !! and it,s not by accident that peter cullen was chosen to voice optimus prime in this movie.... the fandom gave paramount a hard time.... not hard enought if you ask me.... men i hope they dont screw this up !! but hey it,s hollywood !! what can go wrong ??? (sarcastic)

Scorponok? That would make a little more sense. If that is how the Decepticons look, I`m sorry but I`d have to agree with Dazzler. It looks terrible for a Decepticon. It may be nostalgia talking, but these no real reason to change the look of the Decepticons if they are having the Autobots be essentially the same as the cartoon. I understand some characters needed to be revamped in order for it not to be dated. I`m just not enjoying some of the decisions that Bay and co are making. Hopefully they don`t screw it up entirely and maybe we get at the very least a decent popcorn Armaggedon type movie.

Personally, I think its pretty cool looking. Then again, I don't expect much from a movie based on a cartoon that was only created to sell toys.
That pic is a "leaked" image, which I personally think is something Mr. Bay or the studio did intentionally to see what people think, so we don't even know if its a fully complete thing or not.
I will reserve any sort of judment on this movie until I plant my as...er..butt into a seat in the theater and watch it. Then again, I don't have any high expectations of this movie. I think that even if they deviate from some things, or change the look of some things...a good movie is still a good movie.

This will be a fun popcorn movie that diehard fans will hate because of the artistic license taken by Bay and crew. I'm a big fan of Bay's over the top style of movies. I've never been a fan of the Transformers series, but I'll go see this because it's a Bay film.

Just out of curiousity... for those that don't like the look of the Decepticons, are you saying you would prefer a live version of a giant puke green and purple scorpion? We are talking about metal robots not plastic toys. A vision that would actually look like the cartoon would look like crap in movie form. Just look at those %$#@ commercials with transforming cars... they look completely bogus and unrealistic. I prefer the realistic vision in Live action as opposed to the overly-colorful child aged appeal of the cartoon. Thats just me personally though.

It never fails to crack me up when people insist that Peter Cullen was cast (or that any other decision on this movie was made) because "the fandom gave paramount a hard time". It's not G1, G2, Beast Wars, or any other previous Transformers franchise. It's its own new thing, and people REALLY need to accept that. Anyway, Scorponok looks awesome!

does that look like the megatron we all know from G1???
