Columbia Pictures launched their televised marketing campaign for Men in Black 3 this weekend. Check out the first TV spot down below. The third installment in the series will star Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin, Emma Thompson, Jemaine Clement, Nicole Scherzinger, Alice Eve and Michael Stuhlbarg. Franchise director Barry Sonnenfeld returned behind the camera, based on a screenplay by Etan Cohen.

Plot Concept: In "Men in Black 3," Agents J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back... in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. But when K's life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him -- secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save his partner, the agency, and the future of humankind.

Men in Black 3 arrives in 3D/2D/IMAX theaters on May 25, 2012.

Black don't crack playa - thats what my mama always told me.

Some attribute our youthful appearance to excessive melanin in the skin. Married 30 years and I've had people confuse me for my wife's son. I've had people come to my door and ask if my mother is home. I have people talk down to me because they believe me to be their junior, instead of their elder (happened a few days ago as a matter of fact). I have a baby-face (what I was called in the Navy) because essentially, my eyes and nose are positioned close together.

I'm 55 years-old and I can say the same thing for many blacks. I've heard the same thing growing up as well. "Black don't crack." I knew an 80 year old man with not one wrinkle on his face; not a one. I'm not sure what this has to do with Men in Black but...

Wait, I just realized who's missing from these things.  Where's Frank and Jack Jeebs?  Do they at least have the worms?

X-men first class movie bassed in the 1962 era, Dark Shadows vampire wakes up  in 1972 . Men in Black3 goes back in time also to early years of 1969.. gotta say i like that. and i do hope they bring or show in part the worms, that would be cool. hope it's a fun movie un like the 2end MIB, i thought it sucked big worms....

Brolin looks good for the part ... all hail K!

Arnor83 4/3/2012 6:35:07 AM

This movie looks really fun. Some hopes.

From what I've read about the massive rewriting, directing screw ups, and tantrums from Will Smith that went on during this film it'll be a miracle if this doesn't turn out to be a steaming pile of fresh crap.

Wiseguy 4/3/2012 7:39:49 AM

Wow hadn't heard that redvector, hope you're wrong thou because at least by what they've shown it looks sort of fun. Of course a commercial and trailer isn't exactly a guaranty the other 98 minutes will be any good. Fingers crossed
