Never heardof this until now...seems interesting, gotta love that gun.
Sony Pictures has recently released the first still for their film Elysium. Written and directed by Neill Blomkamp and starring a very different-looking Matt Damon along with Jodie Foster and Sharlto Copley along with Michael Shanks, Alice Braga, and William Fichtner.
Plot Summary: In the year 2159 two classes of people exist: the very wealthy who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth. Secretary Rhodes, a government official, will stop at nothing to enforce anti-immigration laws and preserve the luxurious lifestyle of the citizens of Elysium. That doesn't stop the people of Earth from trying to get in, by any means they can. When unlucky Max is backed into a corner, he agrees to take on a daunting mission that if successful will not only save his life, but could bring equality to these polarized worlds.

What the...!?! I thought this was going to be a picture of the Elysium Fields. The ancient Greek version of the afterlife.
Or maybe it is. Is Matt Damon there keeping the gates to the beautiful hereafter safe with a BFG?

The Tom Cruise pic ain't much but if you go to Radical Publishing's site they have art from the graphic novel for Oblivion and if the movie looks anything like that I'm interested.
Sounds pretty sweet. At first glance I thought that was Timothy Olyphant.
