First Pic of Joe's SCARLETT Revealed

USA Today revealed the "Snake Eyes" look a few weeks back and now, Joblo is revealing the first look of Shana "Scarlett" O'Hara, to be played by actress Rachel Nichols. The Stephen Sommers-directed flick will hit theaters August 7, 2009. It stars Dennis Quaid, Channing Tatum, Sienna Miller, Ray Park, Rachel Nichols, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Said Taghmaoui, Marlon Wayans, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Arnold Vosloo and Christopher Eccleston.

Plot Summary: The movie will be a modern telling of the "G.I. Joe vs. Cobra" storyline and its compelling characters that Hasbro created 25 years ago. The premise of this fantasy is the story of the G.I. Joe team, led by Duke, and their "fight for freedom wherever there is trouble" against the evil Cobra Commander and his Cobra force. This storyline was an instant hit with kids in the early 1980s, spawning a highly popular 3-3/4-inch action figure line, comic book collection and animated series. The G.I. Joe team will not be based in Brussels. Instead, they will be based out of the "Pit" as they were throughout the 1980s comic book series. And, in keeping with the G.I. Joe vs. Cobra fantasy, the movie will feature characters and locations from around the world. Duke, the lead character and head of the G.I. Joe team, will embody the values of bravery and heroism that the first generation of G.I. Joe figures established.

The posting has gotten better. I'm guessing everyone is/was having problem posting cause the posts have seriously died down. Either that or people bailed with these changes to the site.

The comments do need an edit button when is that coming!!!!!!!

Count me amont those who feel that, in this case, new is definately NOT improved. The new layout of this site is horrible. I sure hop a LOT of improvements are on the horizon.

uh.....The girl is cute but looks like a Jean Grey knock off.

Well I'm definitely one who's had major issues posting the last few days. While I have no problem with rebooting and redesigning a website, the end result must be user-friendly. In the most polite and constructive tone possible I must voice that I don't think the redesign has been user-friendly at all. There, I've said it, and I hope something is done to fix the leftover issues.

That said, Scarlett's pic is HOT! Love the redhead look on Nichols, and I like the fact that her uniform is all black. I was wondering if the HJoes' costumes would mirror one another, or if they'd be closer to a variety of color and design as they were in the cartoon and comic book.

Oh yeah, and one other observation on this new look of the site. What in the HELL is up with the icons next to everyone's names in their posts? Who chooses these icons? And how do I get rid of this fat kid with blood dripping from his mouth removed as my icon?
