I have to admit I have seen none of the Riddick movies.

jimvo99, the first one was o.k for the time it came out in. the second one to me kicked ass. Even though way different both. I would say give it a shot..

Pitch Black 1.5: Tokyo Drift - this is the third chapter that's really the last chapter, but actually it's a prequel to the cartoon, and a sequel to The Pacifier, but takes place before The Iron Giant...

I agree zilla. Chronicles of Riddick was badass. Riddick is like a futuristic/crazy version of Conan. He's just a badass warrior getting by, pickin himself up and dusting himself off.

Hopefully, the Riddick films continue to be a nice addition to the sci-fi action genre. Yes, COR was a bit over the top, but, it was unique.

Speaking of COR, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the universe that was created in that film could have easily been broken into two different films. All the intrigue and strangeness of those death worshipping cultists left me wondering what was going on with all those other strong characters.

I'm so beyond ready for this movie. The first one was really badass, and its really unfortunate that Vin Diesel let's the Fast movies take precedence over a movie franchise that really COULD be what Blade was for Wesley Snipes...that being said I'm not overly confident about what they are doing with the story, because the last movie left off with Riddick as a Half-Dead Necromonger general. Not sure if they are going to totally disregard what appened in the last movie, but it sure seems that way....I think that would for sure be a huge mistake. But eithr vway I'm happy to see the characther again.

Are you Serious Yelder? The poster(screen-shot) for the movie has him sitting in thr necromonger chair.

Read the IMDB entry, Serious.  Karl Urban is in this one and he's hunting down Riddick along with the mercs.  Matter of fact, this is a shorter version of a longer trailer that has Vaako in it.

Oh, and Katee Sackhoff .. Mmmmmm
