First ROCKY, Now RAMBO

Millennium Films, Emmett/Furla Films and Equity Pictures have announced that Sylvester Stallone is returning as John Rambo for RAMBO IV.

The story centers on former Vietnam vet John Rambo, who is living a reclusive life back home in the U.S. But when a girl goes missing, he is forced to abandon his quiet lifestyle and take justice into his own hands.

The script is in the early stages of development.

What ever happen to the Contra movie? The 80's computer game with a guy with black hair and all muscle holding a gun that keeps on firing (reminds you of Rambo) and another guy with flat tops blonde hair with all muschle holding a gun and keeps saying "I'll be back" (the last segment I made that one that reminds you of Commando)
Still not getting it? Rambo and Commando movie wherein Stallone and Arnold holding two machine guns VS bad guys and aliens.

The Rocky movie I could maybe understand. It was a really great original character created by Stallone, but Rambo was just a Vietnam vet with valid issues. Especially in this day and age of the Iraq war and all that. Do we really need to have some guy wielding an RPG and firing like 4 bullets, but hitting like 100 men? I rather see more realistic, war movies, like Black Hawk Down, that actually tell a story and still have kickass action.

I hope this is the first movie that doesn't chicken out and actually portray the current enemy, as Muslim terrorists. That crap in SUM OF ALL FEARS and Collateral Damage was insulting to my intelligence, especially since 9/11.

First Rocky and now Rambo; Stallone must be running out of royalty money or needs some cah for his lousy magazine. This isn't the 80s anymore, so I doubt the movies will be good enough to connect with today's audience. I have fond memories of the movies from my youth so I'll probably got to see them.

Why?? Are there no other evil people in the world worthy of an old-school ass-whooping by The Italian Stallion?? I think he should invade Equatorial Guinea and depose the nutcase despot in that country. Where Margarent Thatcher's son failed, Rambo will prevail!

Yeah, but not every terrorist is Muslim. To think that is just plain ignorant. Collateral Damage sucked for a whole lot of other reasons then who the terrorists were. Besides back then it was so much easier to have an enemy, namely communism in the form of the Soviet Union. They could always focus on North Korea. Why does it always have to be terrorists? Like there are no other bad guys out there?

I think that doing a rambo sequel is prouf that sylvester stalon is desperate whit is movie career. Rambo 3 sucks so why would the 4 one be good whit the way movie are done these day. What i love about de trilogie is that i watch them and there like a comedi to me.......that what i love about them......espesialy the first two. What whit the 4 look like...like probabily the 3...trying to be whit a pulitical message. Good bye to my favirite intellectual movies..lol

Spider 987, thanks for the lesson in ignorance. Not all Muslims are terrorists, go out and read up on the culture before you paint it with a wide brush! And in the future you might want to try saying Muslim extremists who rely on terror tactics.
Then again there are tons of people who commit terrorism everyday, we call them drug dealers, child molesters, arms dealers, politicans, president, CEO of large companies... see not all terrorists are Muslim.
