We had a quick behind-the-scenes image of Henry Cavil has Clark Kent earlier this week (see here). Now USA Today, Facebook, and Twitter have showcased Cavil as Superman from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

From USA Today: “Man of Steel was all about Superman finding his place in the world as both a hero and as a man, ultimately saving the city of Metropolis from certain doom. Dawn of Justice continues to immerse him on Earth by working at the Daily Planet as Clark Kent along with Lois Lane (Amy Adams) and Perry White (Laurence Fishburne). But it also takes him to new environments such as Gotham City and introduces larger threats, including Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg).” Check out the full story here.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice features Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter and is directed by Zack Snyder.

Why is this news? He looks no different than from the first movie. And if there's a change or two in the uniform its so small you can't even notice. I do not understand why people get excited seeing something they have already seen before.

Show me Gadot as Wonder Woman, then I'll get excited.

Can't post a direct link, but if you do an image search, you'll see he does NOT look the same as MoS. In this image, at least, he's a fair bit bigger. More George Reeves than Christopher Reeve, and I think that's a very good thing.

We know an umbrella is not one of the costume changes.

They understand his powers come from the SUN, right?

;)

Jimvo99, perhaps its not the uniform & more the background... gotham.

I've been wondering, am I the only person who can't access the 'more' news link under movies?  I keep getting tv shows or comics news instead?? & the filter doesn't work?

Ya know....at first I wasn't crazy about the new 52 look and was skeptical of the MoS movie w/it's new take on the origin story. But, after watching it I was actually impressed. I'm actually looking forward to BvS. I think Cavill was a solid choice for Supes.

The uniform has some slight differences most notably the colors are brighter. In MoS the colors were a dark blue almost black and a dark red. Now it's closer to the more traditional brighter blue and red. It would be more noticeable in a better lit scene.

Man this took you long enough mania I seen this image like 3 days ago. I thought it was photoshopped that's why you guys didn't have it up. He really looks the same maybe a lil more buff but same suit different city

It's 2014 time to lose that stupid cape.  It's enormous.  If Supe is going to wear his costume under his clothes like he has been for the last 80 years when he assumes the Clark Kent identity thats a hell of a lot of material to stuff into your pants, it's got to be very uncomfortable.  When the big guy is in action it has to trip him up, get caught on things and blow into his face and stuff. I don't care if that look was a cool fashion statement on Krypton...he's on earth now.  I can kind of understand Batman's cape because that psycho is trying his best to look like a bat and without the cape he'd be more of a rat, plus Bruce doesn't wear his costume under his clothes, he goes home and changes, before going out to play, and Batman incorporates the cape as a crime fighting tool...like as a hang gliding / parachute thingy.
