Just go to Amazon.com and search for this book - one part has a video for the newest one in the series where the author explains "The first book is about finding love, the second about losing love, the third about choosing love..." at that point I either went into a coma or hulked out in anger and blacked out... either way when I came to, I read this is a series for teens and how author basically pined to be a buffy knock-off (even though she denied).. so I'm guessing this movie will end up pissing fanboys off..

PS: Anybody want to venture a guess as to how they are walking around during the day? "Dude, we're like using SPF 100!"

PPS: Woulda added this to the other comment but the editing function has gone to shit again.

This looked ok, but not great. What I want to know is: how old is the kid? Was he turned to a vampire at 17? Was he turned 100 years ago? Or is he a brand new vampire? Would make a difference. That was one thing that, frankly, bothered me a little bit about Buffy (just a little). Angel was over 250 years old - not much in common with a teenager. I let it go, though, because the show was so good. Suspension of disbelief and all that. This, however, doesn't look as good. Not bad, but not fantastic. We'll see when more material is released.

Huh--This looks like it should be on the CW Network.

Right before any of there bland teen dramas starring late 20 something actress and actors(One Tree Hill comes to mind.) and Veronica Mars.

It will die a quiet Christmas death and be on DVD in two months.
