First Trailer for Ridley Scott's LIES

And now, it's time to pass along the third trailer from Warner Bros. this week, also expected to be attached to The Dark Knight in some locations. The first two are Terminator Salvation, which is already online, and Watchmen, which appears online tomorrow. This third one is Ridley Scott's Body of Lies, a CIA thriller that stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Russell Crowe, Carice Van Houten and Vince Colosimo. Scott directed the thriller, based on a screenplay by William Monahan and Steve Zaillian.

Plot Summary: Based on Washington Post columnist David Ignatius' 2007 novel about a CIA operative, Roger Ferris (Leonardo DiCaprio), who uncovers a lead on a major terrorist leader suspected to be operating out of Jordan. When Ferris devises a plan to infiltrate his network, he must first win the backing of cunning CIA veteran Ed Hoffman (Russell Crowe) and the collegial, but perhaps suspect, head of Jordanian intelligence. Although ostensibly his allies, Ferris questions how far he can really trust these men without putting his entire operation - and his life - on the line.
Body of Lies will hit theaters Oct. 10, 2008.
